My name is Kathleen Silver & I thank you for visiting my site. I am a photographer with an eye for authentic and artistic composition. Whether my focus is on landscapes & architecture, oceans & surfing, portraiture or products...I am looking for the way I can capture a moment that is pleasing to the eye and perhaps to evoke emotion on the part of the viewer. I live in the Bay Area, California.

Although I've practiced photography nearly five years, I am relatively new to featuring my photography. Initially, I created this site as I wanted a more polished look for my work. More importantly; I am looking for your feedback. The "comments" feature is available in my galleries and I strongly encourage all to respond with thoughts and impressions. This helps me in so many ways. I find what the viewers' impressions are. And from the feedback I've received on other forums, it's typically resulted that people favor those shots I might not similarly find that remarkable. And, as I'm shaping my portfolio to feature my photography for sale one day - what the viewer finds appealing is more important to me than ever before.
